Advice on Engraving on iPod Shuffle

Hi all ,

Just bought a 1GB Silver iPod Shuffle for my wife as a present for our Wedding Anniversary

So i want to customize it a bit - what are my options ?

Engraving or any sort of decrative idea's out there ?

I didn't know they did engravings on shuffles.

how about something having to do with how ever many years you've been married?

yes that's what i had in mind - the Shuffle can be lasered like this, but i'm looking for ideas

As far as I know, they can't be engraved after the purchase (at least through Apple).

Otherwise, I would write something like "Silver Anniversary ~ 25 Years"

How long have you been married, liketom? I think it could be kind of cool to play off the info at the bottom of iTunes that tells you how long it would take to play all the music in your library...the "X items, Y days, Z GB" thing. If you could personalize that, either by figuring out how many songs it would take to cover the number of years, or changing "items" and "GB" to something different (and "days" to "years"), it could be pretty neat.

I don't know...I'm just thinking outloud on too little sleep, I think.

That is a great idea!

i've know my girl for 9 years so i might fill the pod up with choice songs from that period.
1 song per month of knowing - or with a little compression 1 song per week of our marriage ( 3 years )

Engraving on iPods is really cool. I did them for Christmas presents this past year.
