iPod touch setting roms

Hey guys a person told me to ssh into my touch. Ans set all my roms to 0755. But how do i "set" them to that?

Roms? This is too vague for me to second guess. 0755 is a Unix file system permissions mask. I cannot guess what you are trying to achieve based solely on what you are asking.
