time machine on macbook
I have gotten time machine working wirelessly on my mpb, but when i try it on my mb, it doesn't work. if i select none from backup drives, i can choose to browse other time machine and it works fine, just when i choose for that same drive to be a backup, it doesn't want to work. i have tried to both the initial backup plugged in and wirelessly.
it seems that over airport, it mounts another disk image, while a regular backup is saved directly to the drive. does anyone have any ideas?

As for why you can't get it to work with one of your machines, I don't have a good answer. Make sure all the software is up to date on that machine. And make sure you select the backup drive itself, and not another machine's disk image.
