arkitect macrumors 604 Apr 24, 2008 #2 I went into System Preferences Accounts Login Items and deleted Skype from there. Now I log in and Skype doesn't automatically open. Worth a try?

Good to know… thanks! Odd that they didn't include it in the Preferences though… 🙂 Not many people think of Control-clicking dock icons.
