Ichat not starting up in panther

I did an archive install of panther, and everything was workning fine, then just yesterday ichat took a few times to open, now it wont at all, any ideas??"????
 
Don't know how to fix it but my sister is having the exact same problem with iChat under Panter. And just like you it worked fine and then started having problems.

Did you try deleting it and reinstalling it? If that doesn't work you may want to seach for all the iChat files on the harddrive and delete them too.
