Hi Hope someone can help me, Just got a new Mac Pro running OS X 10.5.2, I've Connected it to me US Robotics 5461 Router and everything works fine.
I've got a HP Laserjet P1006 printer connected via USB to the so I can share the printer with my dads PC. The PC can connect to the printer and print fine, however to my embarrasement my mac cant, I've tried everything and It just wont work.
If i plug the printer in directly to my mac it works fine, I even have a Xerox connected to the network and it prints to that fine, however as soon as I plug the HP into the router the mac just wont print to it.
Also when I add the printer the driver isn't listed, how to find find the correct driver on the mac? its installed because I can print when its connected via USB.
Any help would be great i've scoured lots of forms and still nothing, more than anything I just hate the fact it works on my dads PC but not on my mac!
