On a Mac - how do i save & use animated gifs?
If i try & save one as if i would an image, it only saves 1 frame of it!

Can anybody help?

have you tried click and drag to the desk top?

Also, what are you viewing it in after you save it?

Hoorah!!! It worked. Many thanks.
Admittedly i have just double clicked them & they open in picture viewer, but i have just dragged 1 into an explorer doc & hey presto!!!

if you add the "play" button to the toolbar in preview, you can play animated gifs.

FattyMembrane good tip. but are you talking about Preview.app? i had a look in Preferences and couldn't find anything about a 'Play' button?

Open a file in Preview so you have a window. Go to View>Customize toolbar...
Then drag the Play icon to where ever you'd like it on the toolbar. Voila!
