I just got an iBook G4 and when I try to boot up normally, it boots up for about 15 seconds and then a black box comes on the screen with instructions to "restart" in three different languages. Someone told me that it's my on board RAM. I can boot up in Safe Boot with no problems. I'm hoping all I have to do is re-install OS 10.4. Any ideas? I love this machine.

Try reseating the RAM.
