Dear MacRumors members.

I have a great request for all of you. I cannot repay you for the help, but I would deeply appreciate it if you guys could help me.

Today I heard a song at my GF's home, it reminded me of a song from about, 2003/2004. The song was then very important to me, had it on a funeral, the love of my life and me listened it all the time, it's REALLY important that I get it back. I spend over 2 hours remembering the song, and the beat and background music sounds a bit like this:

http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?i=276222420&id=276222390&s=143441

And the chorus is something like:

Cuz I'm driiiiiving
on the hiiiiiighway
cuz I am so far away.
Far away.

It's very catchy and the background is something with a guitar, hands clapping as a beat. Like: Beat 1, 2. Beat, 1, 2. Maybe a second between hands clapping, and some sort of beautiful sort of music in it (like in the song @ the iTMS).

PLEASE, does anyone have ANY idea what song it could be. It's really important to me. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Greetings, Daniel

P.S. I'm still doing my own part in it and really are thinking what other text came up in the song.

I feel for you. . it sucks not being able to remember important stuff like this.

All I can think of is So Far Away by Staind, it was released in late 2003 and pretty popular, although the chorus doesn't really match. :/

Sorry for not being more help! I wish you the best of luck in finding your song.

Edit: Another suggestion, with a highway mention in the lyrics: Audioslave - I Am The Highway

This might not work out, but whenever I need to know the name of a song, I always go to http://www.adtunes.com. It's mostly for songs from TV/movies/commercials but if you go into the forums and describe exactly what you did here, I am fairly sure someone there will know it. They are music freaks over there.

Tough search, but it's always a challenge.

First- if you can think of any unique words in the lyrics that'd help. Also, what genre it was, what radio stations it was playing on, when it was playing on (date, or proximity to an event you can find the date from).
The person who did the funeral might know the tune - I imagine it's a bit like wedding music - it's been specially picked, so they're likely to remember.
