Yet Another 3G iPhone Photo

Appleinsider posts another possible photo of the 3G iPhone, this time in black again. Appleinsider does not believe this represents a true leak and simply another mockup. As stated before, these purported photos are rarely accurate:

Why in the world does PLASTIC seem "most likely"??? Apple has been shifting EVERYTHING away from plastic. Even the rumors are pointing to the MB going to metal. No way they are going to make their biggest hype consumer product not reflect the rest of their offerings. I'd say this one (aside from the off center home button) looks much more like what we might see than any plastic mockup.

And I personally hope so as there's no way I'm going to buy a plastic iPhone. Now if they release a 3G iPhone looking much like the current one (with metal since I don't even have a single scratch on mine and I got it on launch day) and a metal MB I'm going to be very torn about replacing my 12" PB...

Chill

Allot of you all need to chill out. These photos are for fun and we all know it. Just enjoy the photos as I do every day. No one takes the seriously but I would love to see more of what you guys come up with.

Have fun with it. Didn't you ever shake your Christmas presents and dream what they might be?

Look even if this thing isn't a shopped fake, chances of it being a final build is very unlikely. When AT&T were road testing the 1st gen iPhone, the case's weren't the same look & feel we got last June.

I would say considering we now have at least 6 cell companies either shipping or preparing to ship iPhones, they will get final hardware in a dull as dishwater case. Just so Steve-o can 'reveal' the next gen iphone to the world during a special event or WWDC rather than some oik field tester.

Why are we all arguing over a thread meant for fun? Seems kind of un-fun-ish now....

These are getting tiresome, aren't they?

If somebody wants to generate a bit of shock and awe on the net, they should leak out how much Rogers is going to charge me for the privilege of toting one of these bad boys around Canada.

I'm sure it will outrage even those who are unaffected.

I like the iPhone, but I choose groceries!

Good catch! The artist missed that class where they discussed alignment in their photoshop nightschool class.

No, not really. That's why they're called "Page 2" rumors. What's tiresome, to me anyway, is the abundance of people who have nothing more articulate to say than "Fake" or "Apple would never do that."

I quote someone from another forum:
Quote:
Download the photo from the site and look at the image properties. It states it was taken with a Minolta Dimage XT, well that reflection in the picture is no Dimage XT, that's a Sony cybershot.
FAKE

Need I remind of of the dozens of product recalls that have happened under the auspices of "Apple would never do that"?

If you don't care for Page 2 rumors, then stick to the front page. There's a built-in disclaimer to Page 2 that underscores the whole concept of "Fake" or "Apple would never do that" and affirms that "Yes, if Apple could score more than its usual profit margn and suffer no downside with the fanboys, wtf?, we'll do that."
humm, what a great example, and a great contribution for the thread. oh well...

anyway, i'm very disappointed with all these fake pictures, they all look horrible. seems like there's no decent "photoshopers" around there. or some new visions. damn, they all look so lame...

I wish June was here so that all the BS rumors and hoaxs would stop. This is getting ridiculous.

Luckily the only one I believe is the real phone when released and in the apple store
