I just happened to come across a little shiny object on my bed, and I'll be damned, it was a screw from my MBA. No problem. Got the screwdriver out, put it back in, and then noticed that there's another hole!! Who knows when and where I lost that one. I'm sure missing the screw isn't an issue, right? Would the Apple store have extras?

If they don't, ifixit.com sells screws. You do have to buy the whole set though.

I was curious of the state of my screws after reading a previous thread. When I undid the back of my MBA to replace the CPU cement I noticed that all of the screws seemed to have a loc-tite type of substance on them. I did not, however, repeat the process when I reassembled the back of the machine.
