I have an old Apple 17" Studio Display LCD I want to use on a PC of mine. Is it possible to put an old AGP graphics card with an ADC connecter from a PowerMac G4 into my PC and use it to run the display? I am aware that there are converters out there, but I don't want to spend $100 if I could simply put the video card with the ADC input into my PC. Thanks for your help!

Do you mean they had an additional power connector going to the video card? I am looking at a picture of the actual video card and I do not see a place where that would be. It looks like a standard video card, but has an input for DVI and ADC. I attached a photo.

I've circled the additional power connector. The rest are the standard AGP pins. 😉

There are some proprietary exceptions to this rule. For example, Apple Power Macintosh computers with the Apple Display Connector (ADC) have an extra connector which delivers power to the attached display. Additionally, moving cards between computers of various CPU architectures may not work due to firmware issues.

Thanks for your help. It look's like the $40 I paid for the LCD will either turn into $140, or be put on eBay/craigslist.
