Help with graphics

Hi all

I need to change the colour (correct spelling I'm English!) & I need some help?

Is there an easy to use progarmme that I can instal to help me do this, I need to change the enclosed to be a dark purple colour

Could probably get it done in GIMP.
It's FREE.
Photoshop Elements, would do it also.

Illustrator would do it pretty easily. Live trace then change the colors.

yea I wasn't sure exactly what they wanted to be purple...its such a low res >.<, I wouldn't mind doing it for them if they need it though

Yeah I kind of thought they meant what you did, but I wanted to do something haha so I did it the other way the op could be talking about.
It was very low res though, usually a very easy think to do but it took a little tweaking with that picture
