I have a new 2008 Mac Pro and have been trying to connect my XM radio and also a tabletop radio to the Mac Pro analog input using the mini phono plug. However, I can not get sound from either one to play through my connected speakers. I have double checked to make sure I am using the correct analog input/output on the back and it is. I can get sound just fine though the computer and speakers, just not from any connected device. Also, I checked the sound settings and made sure the ouput was set correct there as well.
Any thoughts or tips on this? If not I will call Apple Care.
