Interesting, but I think an iBook is a tad heavier than a regular book

You'd be surprised to see how heavy biochemistry books are ;-) I'd like to carry them in a PDF on my iBook, but maybe one day...

I've actually read a 700+ page PDF on my iBook, it wasn't too bad. But I'm not sure how well it would work sideways, since it doesn't sit on the table that way.

I was just at a Social Studies conference up in Chicago and there were a couple of book publishers that had some of their books available digitally. Guess it saves them the cost of printing and if a kid damages a cd that the "book" was on, you can just burn them another. Wonder how they keep track of the licenses for that?
