iPhoto and Skype, can I send photos?

Does anyone know if I can have iPhoto open while Skyping and easily send a photo to that person? I thought maybe there was a special iPhoto script or something that I could just click on the photo it will automatically compress the photo and send it to the person I'm skyping.

It appears you can just drag a photo over to the text box of the other user.
