Why is it that when you click on an album cover you are linked to Amazon.com to buy the album rather than back to iTMS, which is what I thought was the point of the site, to generate business for Apple etc?
Perhaps it's not something that you can control?

All of the album art that Dailytunes uses, as well as other freeware apps uses Amazon. I think its probably an Amazon thing.

It's my guess that album art at Apple iTunes is not for free (nor available), whereas Amazon provides a sort of public domain for art.
