iDVD 08 slideshow limit & questions

Is there still a limit of 99 slideshows photos for iDVD 08 like previous iDVD versions?

If so, is it safe to make more than one slideshow sets on same dvd if you have more than 99 photos using iDVD 08?

Is it better to make photos slideshows using iDVD 08, or better using iMovie08 and than using iDVD 08, or better using iPhoto 08 than using iDVD 08?
