I have a wireless network at home that I use with my 17" PB. I have the Airport Extreme base station, without the built in modem.

I'm now wanting to connect my family pc up to the network.

Is this possible? And what is it that I should be buying for the pc in order to connect it up?

Many thanks!

Andy.

Any certified 802.11g (or even 802.11b) card should work just fine. I am biased towards D-Link's products because 1) they are inexpensive and 2) they actually do testing against Mac Hardware. Go to their site and look around, especially at the stuff explicitly listed as "Mac Compatible".

If you are lucky enough to have your PC sitting near the airport station, you can hook it up to the base with a network cable like I did.
