Mac OS 10.5 Server

Ok I need help setting one of these up to be a software update server
and hopefully Open Directory (User folders on the server and log in from Other Macs)

The thing is I dont know crap about it.

This will be a stand alone server we get DNS stuff from our router.
can anyone please help out or give an easy list of instructions to get me going
