Dock Minimising Lag

Hi all,

I have a weird problem with my Dock.

I'll be using my Mac and all of a sudden when I minimise any application or window the genie/scale effect is slowish and laggy. I can fix it temporarily it by opening up the Activity Monitor and restarting the dock process, but it somehow keeps coming back. I'm using a 20" 2.4Ghz iMac with 3Gb of Ram.

Any idea on what is causing this?
