Dont forget: the resulting file from QTFairUse is headerless. You can't just pick it up and play it.

"Frankly, my dear, I doubt your motives"

1) I live in Norway
2) So does DVD-Jon
3) iTMS is not available in Norway.

Where, then, does the M4P file come from? Now, his work concering DeCSS was great, and lets me (yes, me) play DVDs I bought on my Linux box. Love it.

So far, so good. I can, however, not understand that he needs to play back an audio file that he shouldn't have in the first place...

Personally, I wish for Apple to release iTunes or the crypto-components necessary for playback under Linux. Could just as well be a binary license for all I care :-)

Cheers,
the fox

Welcome to the forums

Good to see someone with an intelligent first post. I can't remember my first post, but it probably wasn't as interesting as yours

That's a very good point, and I'm surprised I didn't notice it before.
