Powerbook display power inverter/video controller question
The logic board in my 12" Powerbook has video problems, HW test reports bad VRAM and System Profiler says no displays connected. A replacement logic board is arriving tomorrow after using an external monitor for a long time.
I suspect the display power inverter is (also) dead because the backlight won't turn on. No matter how screwed up the onboard video is, the backlight should still work, right? Thanks for your time. |
