I am having a hell of a timw with my G3 computer. Its a beige G3.
I have valid harddrive partitions that boot to other macs with firewire case. But I cannot get the G3 to boot from the internal hard drives.
I get an cannot find HFS partition or Can't OPEN error.
When booting from from Jaguar CD I can instal and repair just fine, so the harddrive does work.

Any thoughts?

I know the older G3s cannot boot into Mac OS X on a Hard Drive if is not in the first 8GB of the Disk. I had a problem like that so I made a 20 GB parition for my installation of Jaguar. Worked fine.
