Help, I am having a billing issues with iTunes and an Apple TV

I've been using iTunes and my Apple TV for years now. I recently moved and had changed the billing address on my credit card to reflect my new address. I never updated my account information on iTunes. I've been buying songs on iTunes with no problems for weeks without doing so. Just tonight I downloaded some songs with no problems. When I try to purchase something on my Apple TV I get the "the zip code you provided does not match your bank's records" message. I went back into iTunes and corrected the zip code. I purchased a song on iTunes with no issues, but again was denied by my AppleTv with the same message. I then completely switched my billing information with iTunes to use my Paypal account and I still get the same message from my AppleTv.

Any advice? What am I doing wrong?

I would try removing and re-entering your screen name on AppleTV.

Tried it, nothing.

Unplugged and replugged, nothing.

I emailed Apple so hopefully they can answer my question.

I had a very similar issue. My credit card on file at iTunes expired, I entered iTunes through my MacBook and updated the info and have had no problem purchasing songs, shows, movies, etc. from my MacBook. However when I try to purchase anything at the iTunes store from my Apple TV I get a message that says "your credit card has expired, please log into iTunes with your computer and update the info".

I've tried several solutions, including the one's mentioned in this thread and have not been able to fix the problem.

If you get a solution from Apple, will you be kind enough to post it please?
