If I have VNC running on a windows server can I use apple remote desktop to vnc to it?

I'va added it to the device list and it says VNC available but when I choose control it gives me a connection failed.

Thanks

Sorry I cant answer your actual question. however if you dont get anywhere, I was able to use MS's RDC client (v2.0 beta 3 works much better than the 1.x version)

to access my XP pro machine using MS remote desktop. This is the same protocol that would be used to access a Windows server.

I know that VNC has geek cred. But the MS RDC client is quick, seamless, and fast.
