Hi everyone!

I currently own a late 2005 1.42Ghz iBook G4. I felt that it could do with a performance upgrade, so I purchased 512 MB of RAM for it. However, I've just realised that the RAM I bought is 184 pin, whereas crucial.com recommends 200 pin RAM. Does this mean that the RAM I've just bought is completely useless for the iBook?

Thanks.

Yes, I think you have the wrong memory. You want a notebook PC2700 SO-DIMM. You can use Dealram.com to price them out -- put in Apple under systems and then pick the PC2700 option.
