Ethernet Port Replacement

The Ethernet port on my 600 Mhz, dual usb iBook has a loose connection. Therefore, I cannot connect to my cable modem through that port. Can anyone give me an estimate as to how much it should cost me if I have to replace that port?

don't know but it will probably cost almost as much as the computer is worth
you could get an airport card and a wireless router for around 200 and that would get you online

huncamunca is right. It would probably be better to go wireless. It would fix your problem and let you walk around your home

Edit: a suggestion for a wireless router.
Netgear, cheap and works great with my 600Mhz dual USB ibook. its about $30-$50 depending on sales you find. 🙂
