It appears the black one has a lock button on top and the red one does not. I'm calling fake, but I'd be happy if they're real.

people who broadcast "leaked" images to as many sites as possible want the attention a little too much to be believed.

Warm Dang!

We wait, wait, and wait for WWDC, and then we wait for the actual thing to be in our hands. It's all so very unnerving.

That (RED) one I hope to be waiting in line for on Tuesday. :)

Any reason the guy has the photos open in some sort of editing application?

They look good - not sure about the "Carlos Rodriguez" image - the bloke looks a bit creepy.

Not convinced but they look pretty spot on.

Nice fake.

1. XP in the iChat website mockup image isn't capitalized properly.
2. Sleep/wake button missing on Product (RED) version.

No "Designed by Apple in California, Assembled in China" & "Serial No, Model No"text on the back..... Fake....

But hv to say... if the real thing looks like this.... It will be hot!

Looks pretty fake. It's pretty obvious it's just a photoshop mockup this guy photographed with his cellphone. And the video call UI looks amateur at best.

picture of the back casing of the current apple iphone from the iphone section of apple's website. where is "Designed by Apple in California, Assembled in China," the "Serial No, Model No" text on the back?

Maybe apple doesn't include that on their promo shots?

Never noticed that on Apple's website.... As I said earlier because its apple they get away with it but the fakes cannot. Just checked apple webpage and they do not include the "iPhone" or the "8GB/16GB" text either on their webpage unlike these fake pictures.

As people before me pointed out the lock button is also missing on the red one....

But I should say.... it looks awesome.

That's a good point. Unless the product read one is special and the lock button is somewhere else :p.

I'll call fake too, but those are nice designs, and would not be upset if those were what came to fruition.

WiFi is not properly capitalized either, on the same "iChat. Now showing everywhere." website mockup.

True but it doesn't have the size on the back either, and the mockups do.
