activity moniter not launching

Hi,

After upgrading to 10.3.1 ativity moniter will not launch. After I click on it it will do about 1/2 a bouch and not launch?

I am running dual g5 with 1.5 GB RAM. I currently have all possible software updates.

First thing to try, as with most Application problems, is to trash the plist file(s) associate with the app. This one is probably com.apple.ActivityMonitor.plist, in the Preferences folder in your user Library.

I will add that I've been seeing some brutall instability with Activity Monitor on my dual G5 as well; it'll launch fine, and runs constantly with the little load bars, but one out of three times I try to open the detailed vew, it dies.

I tried trashing the preferences, but it didnt work

And check the Console.app for useful messages in the system log as to why it won't launch.
