Under System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extra there is a file called Eject.menu. Run it, and it will ad a menu to the upper right of the menu bar that will allow you to pick which drive you want to eject on your maching. I Believe with the system prefs, or TinkerTool you can modify the short cuts, and create a short cut that will allow you to use any key combo to eject your second drive. Try it, you will have to restart for the new shortcut to be activated, but it should work fine.
