Must be a few tweaks for things like GPS access?

GPS locations would just be accessed using the same old Core Location service that has been in there since the first beta, so probably not much has changed because of that.

Just installed and...... Safari seems snappier

App store now states "The App Store is not supported in this country."
Instead of "Cannot connect"

safari is definitely much snappier and stable. exchange pushes are also more push like than before. still no message search or copy/paste. ringtones also seem to fail now.

I get the same problem,

If I open IB and scroll the library - as soon as I get to about the level of the datepicker control the app just hangs.

IB also won't even open when I double-click a .xib file in Xcode.

Anyone else suffering from this? I have repaired permissions to no avail.

MadDoc,

MadDoc,

Re-download the SDK.

I also had this problem with Interface Builder, I re-downloaded the SDK, and no longer have this problem. Seems Apple re-uploaded the SDK yesterday or the day before due to this issue.

This may sound weird but what is your system timezone set to?

Just try setting your timezone to 'Cupertino, USA' and run IB - see if it fixes the crash. I think it is a bug in the Cocoa Touch DatePicker widget. It fixed mine.

Just found this while browsing for additional iPhone 3G details ... See links. Beta lists carriers in iPhone 2.0 Firmware ... some of which have yet to
announce (eg. Telstra in Australia):
