my imac g5 wont work

i have an imac g5 and when i started it up it went to a blue screen, i then booted off the restore disks and went into disc utility and wiped the hard drive, then tried to reinstall os x it wouldnt finish and the computer would just restart and go to the blue screen, so i wiped the hard drive again and now my computer will turn on but stay dark
