so what about talking 'hypotechitally', if brought iphone somehow and unlocked (eventuly) for use on t-mobile UK. Then using the W'n'W bolt on, do you think 3G web would work?

T-Mobile UK has a data plan "bolt-on" called "Web'n'walk", or something like that. It sounds like what T-Mobile US called "t-zones".

I don't see any technical reason why it wouldn't work in the UK. The iPhone 3G supports T-Mobile's UK frequencies, AFAIK. You'd have to figure out a way to set the data settings, though.

I don't see why it wouldn't. Other 3G phones work on all the UK networks ok.
