I will be getting the 3g one I currently have the 1st gen. My girlfriends might be too not sure whether to buy from Telford or get the train to Birmingham and get them.

Yup,

I'll be there.

Hopefully they'll launch mobile me before then so i can sync over the air, and use it straight away, as i've got a meeting at 9 so won't be able to get back and play until later !

itunes just attempts to connect to the stre and fails

Sooooo not impressed with today.

I know that, but when you first plug your iphone in to your computer, it attempts to access the itunes music store - this is where it just hangs. iTunes hasn't crashed - it just can't seem to get to the page needed to register and setup the iPhone
