I'll be there. How early can we start lining up? And will we be able to line up at the store, or will we have to line up outside the mall area? Anyone have any inside information or experience from previous launches? I know the AM launch changes things....

Regardless, it should be a good time!

AT&T Store?

What time are we lining up? 6am? I was thinking that might be early enough...

Not really having a clue what the turnout may be and not wanting to take a chance of missing out (I'm going out of town next week, and *really* want to take an iPhone with me), I was planning to get there sometime during the night - maybe 1:00 or so. Of course, once you factor in accidentally falling asleep in front of the TV for an hour or so, plus a little "I'll go soon" procrastination, it may end up being slightly later .

Well that'll work. What do we think the attendance is going to be like? Anyone there on launch day last year? Did they run out?

My buddy and I are heading down now, security said no one until 5am. Don't know if this means in parking lot or just by the store. Either way my buddy lives right down the street so we can crash at his house. Hope to see all the MR peeps.

EDIT:

I went to the Apple store last night around 10pm, the security guards said no one on campus (or in parking lot) until 6am.

I went two blocks down the Brand New AT&T Store and was first with my buddy around mid-night. AT&T gave us a folding camping chair with umbrella attachment (first 20 peeps or so), AT&T shirt, Dunkin Doughnuts, Coffee, Water. Much better experience and very organized and calm. Very quick.

Waiting to unbrick at home. AT&T store only got 70 and they were a huge corporate store for AT&T. Sold out (based on people in line). Went back by the Biltmore store and there were probably 200 peeps in line. Good luck everyone.

I wish i could be there early to wait y'all but i will be there in the evening...i'd love to experience it. I was there when the first Apple store opened (Chandler) and that was a blast, my step daughter and i were pictured in MacWorld mag.

cheers!

I work near this place, and this is where I got my last iPhone. There will probably be plenty of stock here, but DAMN the lines will surely big long as *****. It took like 3.5 hours to get my iPhone last time. I live in peoria so i'll be going to arrow head. Lets hope i'm the only one in line...not.
