I love these Apple ads. Funny thing is, I never really noticed them until after I had already purchased my Mac. Wonder if others really switch to Mac because of these ads.

Pretty good ad, not overly drawn out. I liked it.

Speaking personally, I can say that it was a large part of my switch. I was a Windows sysadmin at the time and these ad's just hit the sweet spot for me. Clever, clever Apple.

And two years later, I sill love the ad campaign.

Cheers.

They do cheer me up, because it's the sort of cockups that MS tend to make.

I love that it kind of makes fun of PC's reputations as "fast", reinforcing that there's more to overall quality than mere speed.

Pretty good!

have to agree that Apple aren't fast with fixes but it sure beats Microsoft when it comes down to it. 10.5.3 has pretty much covered all the bases... hopefully .4 will fill in the gaps.

The ad is running on The Washington Post's homepage. I think it's cute.

I think these web ads are great - preferred the one with the button though (the first one I think?)

It's crazy how many people I know these days that own a Mac or are thinking of it.

When I started working where I currently am just under four years back, there was one person left on the department who used a Mac at home (few others had recently left). Especially since Intel and Leopard I can now count about 10, many of which it is their primary system.

It's also mildly amusing when I see the look on some customers' faces when they have a problem with Vista and I tell them "Wouldn't know the solution, I use a Mac." They come in with a problem and who they consider an expert tells them they use something different, followed by one or more colleague agreeing, they begin to feel annoyed that they said "they cost too much" when buying it.

Anyone able to see the ads with the latest Firefox RC3 on either the Onion's page, or the Washington Posts site?

All I get is the static image.

Flash is working fine, as other flash ads run fine.

Ads show up in Safari.

Was able to switch Safari to use the FF3 user agent string, and sure enough, no ads shown.

I enjoy watching these Mac ads. What I enjoy more is watching PC-World trying to bring down Mac.

what I found most interesting about the ad is they have photos of a sheep and McCain on the newswire page....so PC users are republicans who follow the masses and Mac users are...?
