I was just backing up with Time Machine (I turned off auto update so I just backup whenever) and the backup size was 21.4 MB. Sometimes it goes by pretty quick, seeing as it's connected via FireWire 800. But sometimes it takes a while.
In this case, it took about 2 minutes to backup 21.4 MB. The HD was clicking like crazy though, so I'm guessing that has something to do with it.
Is it just because it's looking for free sectors? The drive isn't near being full or anything, though. But maybe it's just that reason. It's a LaCie 320GB 7200RPM drive connected with FW800.
