Depending on which carrier the receiving cell phone is using, you can email pictures and i think certain kinds of sounds to a phone. Verizion is [ten-digit number]@vzwpix.com AT&T is [ten-digit number]@cingularme.com I dont think I've ever gotten the AT&T to work before, but I use the Verizon method all the time to send picture messages.
