HI guys,

I am new in to development on IPhones and this is my first post on mac forum and i am not sure that it is right category.
I want to develop an application on IPhone which will sync its local database from main server database in Wifi state. I have done this on Window Mobile 5.0 by using WCF. I am not sure whether it is possible in Cocoa and XCode to communicate with WCF service running on main server or is there any other way to solve this problem. Or i have to go with the option of webservice. Or it is not possible to do this on Iphone because my application also requires much data manipulation lots of db queries and data transfer between tables.

If anybody knows anything about wifi applications on Iphone then please let me know what is the correct way to sync IPhone db with main server db in wifi state. It would be great help.

Regards,
Gagandeep

Did you find something helpful on this subject? I would like to do the same thing on a Mac desktop application?

Best regards
Meik
