Whoa!,
I think I did a major boo boo... i was cleaning out some system preferences,
( I was on hold with the cable company and trying to multi-task), and i trashed a private folder and some other folder i can't remember, anyways here is the message on the black screen after start up.
/etc/master.passwd: No such file or directory
-sh-2.05b#
This is what I have done,
1. tried to restart with imac OSx disc 1
2. tried to restart with Tiger 10.4 OSx
3. tried pram after taking out kingston 2mg ram and leaving stock apple ram.
I have a apple care appointment on thursday, but can't wait that long...
Any Thoughts!
Wasabi boy Out!
