But, seriously, have we run out of things to talk about that we're resorting to this?

Sweet as always... Trying to decide if I should put the 60GB IBM drive into it or make it an external FireWire drive. If I put it inside, I will have to reinstall the OS, since there are items specific to the new TiBook that were not present in the old one. It might be better/easier to just make it external.

Well, M$ got that sweetheart settlement out of W's people.
Bush is trying to pave Alaska...
Doesn't Bill own an island that is considered its own country?
Compaq and HP have survived (so far)
Dell did start it's own R&D dept. to make T-shirts.

My computer just imploded from that....

How about Kenny dies, and doesn't come back to life the next episode... wait, that happened too.

Some more unique signs:

Professional PC advertizers appear on their own talk show on FOX.

PC Advertizers are paid more.

Everything you touched in your home was run by PCs.

At that point I would migrate to Alaska and travel isolated from computer technology, while having a pet Huskey! LOL!

However, I do not see this as probable. I have already converted a student at class to get an iPod, but he still uses Winblows. What a world...

Hat to break it to everyone, but eye already had "Mod-Power" - it's just that it was only put under his name recently.

The apocalypse will surely come the day I buy a PC.

"Mrs. Stacey, your husband suffered a mild heart attack, but we can't figure out what over."

It is just nice to see someone that is a democrat admit that the guy has done a fairly good job. He can't make everyone happy, but he is trying to do the right thing.

i trust george w bush much more than newt gingrich though i will admit newt is the smartest gop politico in recent times

george bush may not be a genius, but he can't be stupid being that he got thru andover, yale, and harvard (even though he had connections and money...but those institutions can't let you just slide, they have a reputation to keep up)

if newt ran, i would vote for nader first and i am still sore that nader crashed the election

Don't worry, you won't have to undergo another shock... no chance in hell of me voting Bush (or Dem, most likely - unless Hillary decides to run)!

Nader SO did not crash the election. Gore lost it for himself by 1) not carrying his home state or Arkansas, both of which should've been gimmes, 2) not distinguishing himself from the Republicans in any significant way so as to win true progressive supporters. I mean, what the hell was that debate about when the two of them agreed on twice as many issues as they disagreed? All Nader did was give the progressives of the country a face (a rather whiney face, I agree, but still).

Maybe I'll go re-invest myself in the Macs & Politics thread...

Oh, on-topic, another sign:
Steven (the Dell Dude) is spotted in public with an iBook

Cleo, I thought that you of all people would see the merits of Bush. I mean some people don't like Bush. They think Bush is too thick. Me I like the thinkness of Bush. It is the presence of Bush that is most important.

Ok, I'm not even going to ask, but I do have one comment in general to both b2tm and cleo,

Isn't there already a huge, monster thread on politics in this Community Forum? Is this topic spreading like a disease upon all the unsuspecting posts, to slowing take over the site so we'll have to rename it MacPoliticalRumors.com. uuhhh, sorry, got a little carried away

I guess that is a sign of the apocalypse, wow, we are in trouble....

dukestreet, until you see dogs and cats living together (and doing things that should never happen), we are safe. Granted, the apocalypse could happen tomorrow.

Unfortunately, my wife and I have 2 cats and 1 dog, so, theoretically, cats and dog are living together....

Our family just bought a house, whose owners had a dog and a cat. And when people say it's raining cats and dogs, only a certain percentage will land on their feet.

What comes after that, parrots and tape recorders?

Actually, it was the thought of Cleo voting for Bush that would do it. Jeff almost caused the end of the world, but Cleo voting for Bush, man that would just do it all together.

Oh, another sign the end is near. Any mans wife, in real life, looking and acting like the girl in the Bud lite commercial where she is in bed, and the guy ignoring her.

Yea, like that would happen.
