I thought it was pretty sweet that my fiancee has taken the day off work on friday to queue up with me at o2 in the morning, to keep me company.
Now I feel short changed, I want a cake too, but I want mine to be an iMac, since I've been obsessing over that more than the iPhone.....I wont hold my breath though.
Oh and I've since discovered she is only willing to come on friday as she is expecting me to take her clothes and shoe shopping after the iPhone purchase 🙄 I'll be frustrated cos all I'll wanna do is go home and play with the phone, not be dragged around looking at millions of pairs shoes that all look the same.

haha, i can so relate. mine also sighs, and then kisses me to try to wipe the iPhone from my memory. she is usually successful, but it only works for about 5 minutes at a time. i want an iCake now!!
on a related note, its good to know that there are other people on this site that have girlfriends. i was starting to get worried.
man i'm full of randomness today - i probably could put this somewhere else but i'm lazy. Just spoke with my friend who is store manager for an average size at&t store; 40 8GB models came in today, he's expecting around the same number of 16GB's in tomorrow for launch day. So the 100 inventory estimate seems pretty accurate for a larger store, 80 or so for average, and maybe 50 or 60 for a small at&t store. Again this is only for launch day, as they will be getting in daily shipments starting Saturday and after.
