Results:
0.29 Mbps (287 kbps / 35 kb/s) Transferred 256 KB in 7.3 seconds Done on EDGE. Note that the iPhone was docked and nowhere near outside where there would be a better signal. I'll update if I remember this Friday.

![]() I have tried in a few places around town and get between 176-205 kbps. I thought Edge was supposed to max out around 150 kbps? |

you all were too quick on picking up "too" that you missed "there." should be "their" unless its not someone's iphone. its just sitting there.

I guess it's not the "iPhone Speed Test over EDGE with Grammar Support" version; I'll wait for a new firmware update.

iPod Touch on WiFi: 0.32Mbps.
The sad thing? I'm sitting less than two meters from my wireless router's antenna, and have a 100Mbps fiber connection.

Pretty cool. But it seems like there is a lot of variability in the results?

I'm getting 2.8Mbps on an iPhone with WiFi. I can't imagine the iPod Touch would be slower at WiFi than the iPhone.

Isn't that faster than EDGE can perform. I though the max down was 180 something. Am i incorrect that anyone knows.
