Cycling the battery

I just purchased my 1.6/80 last night. I woke up this morning and began using my air. In the first 3 minutes the battery dropped to 97%. I know the battery extends when you cycle it or so I'm heard. Is this normal for someone who hasn't cycled it yet? I also can't seem to find the battery cycling tutorial, can someone please direct me to it?

Not sure about extending the battery time, but you have to expect some what of a lower battery time with such a thin notebook
