Portable iPhone charger?

Can anyone recommend a good portable charger for the iPhone. I'm looking for something that is either battery powered or can be recharged itself. Something that you can just plug into the bottom of the phone to recharge or extend talktime.

Thanks!

I don't have one but it reviewed well:
http://us.kensington.com/html/15462.html

They also make a bigger one that is connected with a cable (instead of plugging directly in). APC makes a bigger one as well.

Try one of the iJuicz iphone chargers

I have the iJuicz Solar, it has saved me a bunch of times. I like it. It charges with bright light or power source, depending where I am.

http://www.blujuicz.com/iphone-charg...icz-solar.html

BluJuicz has quite a few to choose from, depending on how much power you need or style you want and they are all rechargeable I think.

I tried one with AA batteries and they suck compared to my Solar one.

I use the one at http://www.imaxpower.com/iPhone-Battery-s/16.htm.

5000mAh for under $60.

This got the best iLounge reviews: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/rev...b-power-packs/

I just got mine this week. It is rather compact. It is said to charge the iphone about 4x on one full charge. I have yet to see how accurate that is, but I no longer have any anxiety about battery life and the iphone. What a burden lifted!

I would NOT recommend this one: http://www.energizer.com/products/en...y-charger.aspx

It was $8 on woot. I got it and plugged it in my phone and it started charging, so I put it in my car for emergencies. Last week I went camping and my phone died, so I plugged it in and it charged to 30% before saying "this device doesn't work" blah blah. So I wore my phone down to dead again, and plugged it back in. This time it charged it to 5% before saying it wont charge anymore. I think this happened another time. So yes, it worked and was dirt cheap, but it isn't flawless.

They carry the following:

(1) iPWR IP500 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Backup Battery (first item on site)

(2) Slimm Lithium Ion Charger (SL827) - less than 1 millimeter thick and works great with the iPhone - i've tested it myself (second item on site):

(3) 2 'AA' Charger which will charge the iPhone to 100% using AA Lithium batteries, or add 60% charge using NiMH rechargeables. Alkalines only give about 20% (for emergency purposes).

This is the best unit out there and it is inexpensive considering what you get.

How about this? New External Backup Battery Charger For iPhone 3G iPod
As i just bought it a few days ago at promotional price of $6.19, currently it is priced at $8.48.

Or this? $38.95 Sanyo Eneloop Mobile USB Booster
Using 2 Lithium battery and can charge 2 devices at 1 time.
And it is 5000mAh.
Check it out the review.

DealExtreme has a bunch. Just be aware that shipping might take a while.

iPa 3000

You can find amazing portable iphone chargers from raidenpower.com . I bought the iPa 3000mAh. It is good and very powerful. The price is really really attractive.

Portable iPhone Charger

The best portable iPhone charger I have found out there is the 3GPower2: http://www.3GPower.com

I purchased it for my 3G iPhone a while back and now that I have the iPhone 4, I use it for my new one as well. Works perfectly and have had no problems at all! Hope this helps.
