iTunes 7.7 is up!!!

It is 12:24am Pacific Time on Thursday, July 10. Software Updates shows iTunes version 7.7! It didn't come up just 10 minutes ago when I checked so it was JUST posted. Downloading now!

Mark

Edit: iTunes 7.7 installed but no sign of the iPhone App Store at iTunes Store. Also, checking for a firmware update for the iPhone still shows version 1.1.4 as the current version. Oh well, at least I'm ready with iTunes 7.7. And, since Apple released this tonight, it would follow as likely that Apple will release the iPhone 2.0 firmware and App Store sometime tomorrow.

Same here! I also checked about 10 minutes ago. I'm just glad you weren't like that arse from Canada who posted a thread title and then said "Gee, don't you wish that was a real headline?"

Apple Releases iTunes 7.7

Apple has released iTunes 7.7. This latest version of iTunes is required for the iPhone 3G as well as Firmware 2.0 compatibility
Quote:
Use iTunes 7.7 to sync music, video, and more with iPhone 3G, and download applications from the iTunes Store exclusively designed for iPhone and iPod touch with software version 2.0 or later. Also use the new Remote application for iPhone or iPod touch to control iTunes playback from anywhere in your home — a free download from the App Store.
It is available in your Mac OS X Software Update at this time. Apple is expected to also released the 2.0 Firmware and App Store shortly.
