Norton Utilities 7?

All debate over Norton's worthiness aside....

What the heck happened to NU 7? I can find updates for 6 and 8 but 7 seems to have disappeared except for Liveupdates.

Also: does anyone remember how to make a bootable OS 9 CD? Symantec used to have the instructions on their website but they've pulled it since I found it.

I was looking to make a bootable 9.2.2 CD with an updated version of Norton 6.
 
The easiest way would be to make a disk image the size of a CD in Disk Copy (it has a preset mode for this) and then use the OS 9 installer disks etc to install the system onto the disk image, as well as norton and other apps.
 
Hmmm...

What I tried most recently was imaging an OS 9.2.1 CD and updating/installing to the image. The CD burned, mounted and OS X saw it has a system folder but it wouldn't boot the machine. I know the machine should boot from it because it boots from the original just fine.
