Hey you guys... a happened upon this window in OS 10.3.1 by accedentiy pressing open-apple and tab simultaneously. Have you ever seen this before? I don't remember reading about this feature on Apple's web site.

you mean switching between running apps ?

That should be the application switcher interface. 10.3 added the display in the center of the screen, while older versions simply highlighted the dock icon.

it;s just the application switcher, pretty nifty eh?

press apple+` (left of "z") to reverse...
or hold apple+Shift+tab
