Streaming App for iPhone/iPod Touch from iTunes to the device over WiFi

I've looked through the forums but have not found an answer.

I am looking for an app that will stream content from iTunes to my iPod touch, in a manner exactly how iTunes can stream to AppleTV without having to keep the content on the AppleTV.

Is there such an app, is the functionality already built-in (if it is I can't find it)?

Many thanks in advance for help finding such a critter!

Simplify Media has a beta app that does precisely this but it's only available for jailbroken phones at the moment. According to a recent blog post, they are working on a release through the app store soon. It's a great tool and I can't wait for it to hit the store.

Holy Cow, thanks dss, after reading the blog for Simplify Media it appears that the app has already been submitted to Apple for review for placement on the App Store.

Wahoo, maybe the wait will not be long at all!!!
